Hi Betty, Thanks for that comment and for the identification. I am glad you passed that information on about the plant, I would never have known the leaflets were an indication of water stress. Many thanks.

Weeds are worthwhile. This Oxalis probably started its life as a lawn weed. Despite well developed roots it is water stressed. The leaflets lie flat when it has enough water.
