I am seeing 5 or 6 flowers and only 3 stems. These stems while short are reasonably robust. I also think these are C. carnea.

They might be more aware of being predated on by birds 🤷‍♂️…. but I’ve seen heaps of large species right out in the open so it might be circumstantial and your imagination 😊

Definitely a TYBA species Mark! What I found interesting, and something I have observed before, is that larger casts (and temogs) seem to feed further in to a bush (safety) rather than being out on a limb, so to speak like more common and smaller spp.
