In the strict sense, either construction of the Pterostylis is scientifically valid. It depends on the authority you follow. However, whilst I prefer the splits and think that they make very good sense, I do agree that we should treat Pterostylis as a single entity on Naturemapr. I'm trying to work on the Canberra people :)
