Agrianome spinicollis (Poinciana longicorn)

The introduced tree Delonix regia ('Poinciana') is only one of many trees, including numerous natives, that the very large larvae of this beetle bore into. Hence its pest status. The CNM region seems to be on the climatic margins of its distribution.

Agrianome spinicollis is listed in the following regions:

Canberra & Southern Tablelands  |  Southern Highlands  |  South Coast  |  Greater Sydney  |  Central West NSW  |  New South Wales North Coast  |  Gippsland  |  North Queensland
